Organisers of the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea have revealed three big names for the 2016 edition on 2nd June.

Three big names of international athletics will be in the spotlight at the fifth leg of the 2016 IAAF Diamond League: Italian Gianmarco Tamberi, world indoor gold medallist in the high jump, long jump olympic champion Greg Rutherford, and 400m world champion Wayde van Niekerk. It will be the first competition for “Gimbo” Tamberi on Italian soil after his world indoor gold medal in Portland.
